Anastasia Presents the Project in Ioannina and Volos

On 13 November in Ioannina and then on 11 December in Volos, Anastasia Loudarou gave a keynote speech titled "The History of the Greek Jews: A short history of the 2.300 years of Jewish presence". This was in the framework of the Jewish Museum of Greece's annual seminar "Teaching about the Holocaust in Greece" which was organised for the first time in the cities of Ioannina and Volos. The seminar was addressed to school teachers at primary and secondary levels. After giving a short historical sketch of the presence of Jews in Greece from late antiquity until the first few years following the Greek War of Independence, Anastasia presented the project, its aims and scope, and its potential as an educational tool for enriching the teaching process.
